After the success of the Odenwald Association’s last two virtual concerts, the Open Evening and the Burns Supper, we are organising another one, this time to coincide with the Falkirk Tryst Festival.
Entitled “Willkommen, Bienvenue, Welcome”, the event will take place on Tuesday 27th July 2021 at 7pm.
This is a joint venture with the Falkirk District Twinning Association (Créteil), and will feature music, dance and chat from Scotland, France and Germany, including the Glenbervie Folk Duo, Lads wi’ Gear, the Tonkerers, and the Jenkins dancers.
Charlie Tibbles will host it live on the OA Facebook page, and there will be a Youtube link afterwards for anyone who doesn’t do Facebook.
There will be the opportunity to chat in the comments as the concert is going on. It would be great to see as many people as possible on the night to celebrate the joys of Twinning.
