The Odenwald Association hosted a conference for local twinning groups in the Municipal Buildings, Falkirk on Wednesday, 22nd August, 2018.
Representatives from six groups (including the OA) came together to discuss challenges and share strategies to improve recruitment, funding, and promotion.
It was interesting to find out how each group operates, and very encouraging to discover how passionate everyone is about twinning, even after years of voluntary service to their organisation. The conference concluded that it is even more important now, in the light of Brexit, to maintain close links with our European friends.
