The Falkirk Twinning website is a partnership between Falkirk District Twinning Association and the Odenwald Association in Falkirk. The groups work with Falkirk Council and international partners in France and Germany. This privacy policy will explain how we use the personal data we collect from you.

What data do we collect?
To deliver services, we collect the following data:
- Personal identification information (Name, address, email address, phone numbers, etc.)
How do we collect your data?
You directly provide us with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:
- register online or place an order for an event;
- voluntarily complete a customer survey or provide feedback on any of our message boards/social media or via email; and
- use or view our website via your browser’s cookies.
How will we use your data?
We collect your data so that we can:
- process your requests and respond to you; and
- keep you informed about the respective associations.

How do we store your data?
- We store your data on our email systems and through this website (hosted by Automattic.com via WordPress.com);
- We will keep your data for as long as you have a relationship/membership with us. Normally data would be deleted after three years – unless you have an ongoing contractual relationship with us. You can ask for all data/emails from you to be deleted at any time.
- Informal emails may be deleted earlier.

Marketing
If you would like to keep in touch with us, you can “like” and “follow” our social media pages. Links to these sites are on the homepage of this site. Please note that by using these external sites you are sharing your data with providers such as Facebook.
Currently – at this time – we don’t operate a customer ezine.
From time-to-time, we may contact existing customers about services. If you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes, please contact us.
